Days of Cover
How it works

I run the planning. You make the calls.

I analyse and recommend. You approve, and your team places the orders. It starts with a free 20-minute review, then a short Sprint to clear what's already built up and correct the settings that caused it, then runs every week from there.

The Cash Release Sprint. 14 days.

Stale settings usually leave excess stock behind. The Sprint clears it and fixes the cause, so weekly planning starts from a clean position.

Before day 1
Free 20-minute review. No data access, nothing to prepare. If you like, we check five planning fields on three of your own items together. I tell you honestly whether your planning is worth fixing. Or try the free calculator first.
Day 0
You send four standard Business Central exports: your item list with planning fields, item ledger entries, open purchase lines and open sales lines. Nothing to install. The 14 days start when all four arrive.
Days 1–7
Find it. Every dead, slow and excess line valued in dollars, plus the items at risk of running out.
Days 8–11
Route it. A clearance route for every line: return to supplier, bundle with fast movers, sell to a trade buyer, auction, or write off. Ranked by cash recovered per hour of your team's effort. First 45-minute call to go through the findings.
Day 14
You see the number. If it is A$100,000 or more, I invoice A$5,500. When you pay, I hand over the full clearance plan, the do-not-reorder list and the corrected settings, and we walk through them on the second call. The weekly planning starts here.

The Sprint is a fixed A$5,500, with nothing upfront. If it finds less than A$100,000 of excess stock, you pay nothing. Excess stock is stock beyond what your sales, supplier lead times and order quantities justify, plus anything that hasn't sold in 12 months, valued at cost. I recommend the routes; you approve them and your team carries them out. I never buy, hold or sell client stock.

The Weekly Planning Desk. Every week.

This is the planning function your business is missing: settings kept right, every item checked, and the call made on the ones that need it. It starts when the Sprint ends.

01
You send the exports
The same standard exports each week, or read-only access so I can pull them. I never write to Business Central.
02
I run the planning
Demand, days of cover, lead times, incoming stock and supplier constraints give every item a position. Safety stock and reorder points are recalculated, and exceptions are checked by hand before anything goes on the list.
03
You get the decisions
BUY, HOLD, CLEAR and WATCH, ranked by urgency, with the reasoning behind each call, plus an import worksheet for any planning settings that need correcting. Your team places the orders.

Your team works down one email.

A plain-text summary of this week's calls, readable without clicking anything. A decision board with the reasoning and recommended quantity for every BUY line. And once a month, a 45-minute meeting to review what moved, how much cash has been released against the clearance plan, and make the calls that need a person in the room. About 30 minutes to action most weeks.
